Owen Jones was an influential 19<sup>th</sup> century architect and designer, probably best known today for his publication, The Grammar of Ornament.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Formal study sessions were arranged then members worked on their pieces at their own pace using the inspiration gained from their sketches, photographs and writings worked up during the study sessions.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>A blog was used t</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">o share ideas and thoughts as the participating members were spread throughout the region.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 150%; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The resulting exhibition is the response </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">ERTF</span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> members have given to the decorative designs and motifs of Owen Jones.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Some of the exhibits have responded purely to the decorative whilst others have given thought and consideration to his design theories.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This makes for an eclectic and diverse exhibition.</span></span></p>
